Indiana TASC — Treatment, Addiction Support & Care — is an outpatient substance use disorder treatment provider serving adults in Columbus, Bartholomew County, and the surrounding Southeastern Indiana communities. Our mission is simple: make it easier for people to find compassionate, evidence-based care and to take the first step toward lasting recovery without judgment.
What we do
We provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment, with our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as the priority and primary offering. IOP is a structured, higher-frequency schedule of group therapy, individual counseling, and recovery education designed for people who need more support than weekly therapy while continuing to live at home, work, and stay connected to family. Alongside IOP, we offer clinical assessment and care planning, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient therapy, peer and recovery support, continuing care, and recovery housing through Indiana Recovery Homes.
Who we serve
Our care is built for adults in Columbus and across Southeastern Indiana who are ready to address a substance use disorder — whether they are reaching out for themselves, a loved one, or a client. We also welcome referrals from hospitals and physicians, courts and legal professionals, employers, and community organizations. Families and support people are part of the journey too, and our resources are written to help them understand treatment and take the next step with confidence.
Who builds it
Indiana TASC was founded by Columbus Regional Health and has served the region since 2019. Today we continue our next chapter combined with Indiana Recovery Homes, supported by Ascension Recovery Services — protecting continuity of care for patients, staff, and referral partners. As a licensed Indiana provider, we are committed to whole-person, evidence-based care that meets people where they are and walks beside them toward independent, sustainable recovery.
